We’ve been thinking about governments this week at Beroean, and how we as Christians are onlookers rather than participants of earthly politics; and how we are subject to our earthly leaders because we recognise they are subjects of God. It is difficult, however, to remain quiet when we see injustices in the world. One way we can cope with this is in looking forward to Jesus’ coming to reign on the earth, and the peace and justice that will come with that. It was God’s message to his people in Micah 3:9–4:4, and it’s a principle we can live by today, too.

Based in the Church of God in Kirkintilloch, Michael works as a software engineer, so spends an awful lot of time on a computer. This makes being an editor of Beroean.com a much easier task (although he still manages to fit in reading about all sorts of history in his spare time).
